Here we go again, throwing away money in another stupid war. Policeman to the world. USA! USA! USA! I know this is supposed to be a United Nations action and I guess I’m suppose to feel good about it, but I don’t.
I’m not even sure what our mission is. The generals say one thing and Secretary of State Hillary R. Clinton says something different. She’s not going to serve another term if President Obama is re-elected, so everything she says now is suspect as far as I’m concerned. I think her plan is to run after Obama’s second term, and there will be a second term if the Republicans can’t get their act together and there’s no reason to think they can.
By the time 2012 rolls around, most of the country won’t be trusting the GOP anyway. Their dishonorable backstabbing of teachers in Wisconsin is too blatant even for politicians. The Republicans will eventually turn against the tea party, too.
I used 20 years in the caption because those cruise missiles cost a $million a copy and I think that $50,000 a year is minimum wage for a teacher. I know some make less and some make more. One website had Wisconsin teachers averaging $52,644 a year. Connecticut’s is $59, 304 and Mississippi $40, 576 for a year’s wages. But we all know that generally, politicians would rather wage war than teach children. They’ve proven it time and again.
