Englehart’s View by Bob Englehart
I spent the weekend with children. I was with my two 5-year-old granddaughters and my 11 year-old grandson. I also rehearsed for my church’s Christmas pageant, which is filled with kids. That seemed to help my mental state. In a few days I’ll see my 18-year-old granddaughter who is studying to be a kindergarten teacher.
I expect to see concrete changes come from President Obama’s speech and presence in Newtown the other night. Newtown––appropriately named Newtown––is the center of the new world.
