A cartoonist for the Omaha World-Herald since 1989, his award-winning work has appeared in publications the world over, and have also gone into space. Entertainment Weekly called his memoir, Inklings, “…a powerful and moving portrait of an artist.” He is lead singer, guitarist, and songwriter for the Prairie Cats, a swing and jump-blues band that has performed at the South by Southwest Music Festival and the National Cartoonist Society Reuben Awards.
