Ratt draws editorial cartoons for Crooks And Liars (CrooksAndLiars.com). This online publication receives approximately two-three million visits per month and has approximately 100,000 Twitter followers, in addition to its paid subscribers. His cartoons for Crooks And Liars have been republished in national publications, including The Washington Post, Politico and The Nation. Through January 2021, Ratt was the editorial cartoonist for The Rule of Law This Week, a project launched by the American Constitution Society, a leading legal nonprofit organization. Formerly, Ratt drew for The Cape Cod Times of Hyannis, Massachusetts and his work was also distributed nationally by Syndicated Writers & Artists and the College Press Service. His awards include the Association of American Editorial Cartoonists’ Locher Award, a New York Press Association Commendation and Harvard University’s Al Capp Prize for Satire.
