Australian political cartoonist Michael Atchison passed away yesterday at the Mary Potter Hospice in Adelaide. He was 75 years old. Atchison’s work was a longtime fixture in the Sydney Morning Herald and the Adelaide Advertiser. His work also appeared in a number of other publications, including Punch. He was also known for his Word for Word daily strip.
He is survived by a wife, two daughters and three grandchildren.
