My Time In Ethiopia

I blogged about Ethiopia a few years back explaining how untrue news stories of this country known as the "Horn of Africa" were. All the news was very negative compared to what I saw when I was there teaching Cartoons as Visual Commentaries at Addis Ababa University – School of Journalism and Communication. I forgot to mention the late President Meles Zenawi, who died in office and was quite instrumental to the changes and progression of the country. Honestly I thought I would see starving Ethiopians all around. I didn’t.

I did this sketch of Hailemariam Desalegn the acting Prime minister who was Zenawi’s deputy until his death, the moment I saw the first prominent pictures of him.
