In 1979, Jin Scancarelli began assisting Reuben winner Dick Moores
on the classic, 79 year old syndicated strip, Gasoline Alley
--Jim has been drawing the strip himself since 1986. Jim also
collaborated with NCS president, George Breisacher, on Mutt &
Jeff, putting Jim in the record books as the only cartoonist
to take two strips past their 75th anniversaries. Jim's Gasoline
Alley won the NCS award for best comic strip. Jim selected some
of his favorite, award winning, color Sunday strips for this
